EuroGeographics welcomes new members
Three new organizations have joined EuroGeographics which means the Association now represents 59 National Mapping, Cadastral and Land Registry Authorities from 46 countries.

Her Majesty’s Land Registry Great Britain and two organisations from the Republic of Azerbaijan - the State Committee on Property Issues, the Real Estate Cadastre and Technical Inventory Centre and State Land and Cartography Committee have all become members. In addition, the National Agency of Public Registry, Georgia has upgraded from an associate to full membership.

“Our continued growth demonstrates the value national mapping, cadastral and land registry authorities place on collaborating to find solutions to common challenges,” says EuroGeographics’ President, Ingrid Vanden Berghe. “Sharing expertise and best practice is vital in helping members to meet the continuing demand for authoritative pan-European geo-information.”

The four organisations were officially voted members of EuroGeographics at a recent meeting in Leuven, Belgium. During the two-day event, representatives heard more about the Association’s activities and plans for the future.
